I Wrote This One For You

There are a few people who believed in me 
and helped me out along the way 
had it not been for them and all of their support 
I would not be where I am today. 
They all laughed with me when I was happy 
and when I cried, they also shed a few tears 
so this is just my way of thanking them 
for believing in me all of these years. 
They helped me to overcome obstacles 
they made sure my faith stayed strong 
they helped me to learn from my mistakes 
and forgave me whenever I was wrong. 
I will never forget any of these friends 
and should I ever become a success 
I will know that it's not from my own doing 
but because of their love and tenderness. 
I will remember these people for the rest of my life 
and my love for them will always be true 
if you're one of the people who believed in me 
then I wrote this one for you.

Where I was really lucky having people that believed in me was the fact I didn't believe in myself. I had very low self esteem as a youngster. Well, I hope that you have a blessed day my friend.
