I Write Poems

I write poems

I write poems about my feelings
but I do not write poems about ceilings
I write poems to express
but not to be depress
I write poems to show love
but do not write poems to show hate

I write poems from the heart
while having my milk tart
what I write comes from the soul
while laying my back against a pole
and yes that's how I roll

As you can see I also write poems to rhyme
while I sit in darkness through my tough time
I think of the loved ones I've lost
and of how much the has cost


So every night I go to sleep
I dream of the one I care about
and dream of the loved one I've lost
but have thoughts of the one I truly love
