I Won'T Tell

I Won’t Tell
By Kevin Robey
April 4, 2014

It’s ok to let it show
Promise I won’t tell a soul
Never knowing where we go
Every time down rabbit holes

No one ever has to know
The great mistakes that we are
Our feet sinking in sand below
As we still see dreams from afar

Stay with me, don’t fade away
Until the day our wings unfold
To take us from these bitter days
Till fairy tales are what we hold

It’s ok to let it show
Promise I won’t let you down
I’ll never know where we will go
As long as we get out this town

No one will ever really know
The great mistakes that we’ll make
To better places that we'll go
This happiness is ours to take

Stay with me, don’t go away
Face with me a better dawn
The sun is shining every day
Until the hands we hold are gone
