I Won't Remember Christmas

Today I'll build myself a wreath I'll buy the floral tape I'll hunt for pines and mistletoe I'll bend them into shape Today I'll play a Christmas song I'll find the merry tune I'll sing for joy and family love I'll play on for the moon Today I'll bake a Yule log cake I'll work tirelessly I'll work out chocolate ganache years I'll make you candied sleep Today I'll hold my family close We'll gather 'round the fire I'll tape my eyes and try to find Ways out of mad desire Today I'll search for hours on end I'll make it all okay But I still know, when it comes I'll forget Christmas day

For 364 days, you avoid them like the plague. Then for one day you get together and have a love in. Someone told me it was the busiest time of the year, for the police. You can only chuckle.

Thank you for the comment! The holidays are certainly an interesting time for the tense relationships in our lives. I wish you the best of times this season.
