I Won'T Give Up

I can’t get up, My ankle hurts Why now? Why today? A sharp excruciating pain in my ankle I looked around I watched a hundred kids go by me Why won’t you help me? I thought that’s what this school was about. I guess I was wrong I’m finally up and I’m limping Its okay not in pain just can’t walk on it A few hours later I followed my teacher When all of a sudden, my leg got weak The pain, The pain came back Still no one to help I can’t get up It really hurts now I’m crying all alone in pain I try to get up and I fall hurting it once more I can’t believe this is happening When I got up one more time I wobble towards me friends Tears streaming from my eyes I hide my face crying as my friends kept talking with one another I crying and crying more to find out later I have to go home, it’s broken I missed the most important day
