I Wonder If

Solid gray soft clouds slowly flow
Southerly then they stop
Is the rain about to pour down
The clouds their moisture drop

The crickets don't seem to mind much
They sing in soft chorus
But the roosters are quiet now
No crows making a fuss

I wonder if they wonder if
The sun has lost its way
Or if it refuses to work
'Pon such a cloudy day~~

A very valid curiosity you present here. I like how you're making Mother Nature think a bit here. =)

I wonder too what the animals think about such days, do they think the sun has surly been lost, will they ever see it again? I wonder if they think the sun will ever come back again, they've seen it come back before, but will it come back this time? These are good questions I love how you stated that the crickets don't care, they chirp all throughout the day...but the do so love love the night Sara! I just love this tremendous poem my friend! I enjoyed this piece, Great Work!!
