I Wonder

I wonder what you think of when your lonely heart rests
Head on the pillow this dark night, feelings on waves crests.
I wonder if you’re living with your soul’s purposeful intent
Letting go of things that may have been wasted time spent.
Some things don’t work out in the ways you may have tried.
May you move on like a beautiful waterfall from all tears cried.
I wonder if you know just how much you have to fully give
Authentically so talented in this one life you have to live.
So let the light of day show you what others can already see.
You have all the fluent ways within you, moving to make it be.

A wonderful, encouraging poem. So true that we may doubt though others see we don't need to. Thanks, Dave

I can tell you this, if someone is looking for a reason to smile all they have to do is pay a visit to your poetry Heidi. I do that often, it works perfectly. :)
