I Wonder

I Wonder
By Franklin Price

I wonder at so many things
About the world around
About the nature of all things
The wonders that abound

The sunrise in the morning
The cycles of the moon
The night sky stars and planets
The sultry days of June

The colored leaves of Autumn
 Winter's snowy icy days
Flowering rebirth in the Spring
Mountains in a cloudy haze

I wonder at the life I live
I'm grateful that I'm here
That God is watching over me
Of that my mind is clear

Wonder at the friends and family
That life has brought my way
That my parts were all still working
As I awakened this fine day

So take some time to wonder
Every day as it goes by
Be thankful for the life you have
For your piece of the pie
