I Wish You Would

I

                                                       wish

                                                   you would

                                                   reveal why

                                              you coo so sadly.

                                  What then, if not a broken heart?

                      I wonder if you're perennially cursed with sadness

Do tell me, dear mourning dove; the symbol of peace, many say. Are you truly at peace?
