I Wish Someone Is Always There
Oh, I wish someone is always there
Saying yes to all I need,
When lonely as an island on the fiery path
Oh, I wish there is always a friend indeed.
Looking up the sky, I always see the stars
So far, above, yet they smile;
Looking at the garden, I always see the flowers
So friendly but they’re not mobile.
How I wish the little bird that sings.
Could be my friend all day
But it only flies around, singing in unknown lyrics
Yet its sounds brings me hope each day.
How I wish there is some always there; a friend
That will always wipe my tears when I cry
Even if it seems the world has come to an end
I wish I had someone around that will never say bye.
