I Wish It Rains
I wish it rains whenever I'm in pain
so I can hide my tears and pain in the rain
my tears would mingle with rain as they fall
flowing from my eyes like a waterfall
I can pretend to laugh under the pouring rain
no one would know that I'm concealing the pain
a pain that grips and tugs at my heart's core
an ache so intense and so difficult to ignore
Oh rain come cover my pain under your heavy downpour
let my tears flow in a deluge that can drown a soul
don't stop pouring till my eyes have been emptied
dry of tears till no more ache and pain can be felt
