I Wish I Were An Idiot

Details should be tucked deep underneath;
anywhere else but nearby
Being aware just drags me down
and this knowledge feels so useles
Don't tell me a thing
'cause I've learned how it feels
Looking back on what I've lived through
pains me more than ever
My daydreams control themselves
and I can't help but sink
I'd rather not know a thing
than get shot down

"Being aware just drags me down" that is why the best cure for depression is to stop thinking about the emotions, but i believe it is only a temp cure, we are here to observe, feel, and express

Sad thoughts that you have penned in these lines. The last four lines are of special interest. Find some daydreams that lift you up and think on them. There is hope and there is good. Keep the creative and magical pen flowing. Sara
