I Wish I Knew

All this time I wish I knew,
At other times I wish I had known,
The whats, ifs and buts of life.
Then I hope that I had never known,
What could have been with or without,
It is better for it to remain a mystery,
Than for me to fall prey to solving it.
Let be what there is and accept it,
Better this way than to expect more,
Come what may in this life and more,
Will face it head on and face the strife.
