I Wish I Knew

Tears on my face,
scars in my mind,
memories I want erased,
eyes I want dried.
I can't stop the thoughts
of you and me
no matter how hard I try
they just wont die.
They are set on replay
in my head,
in the middle of a talk,
or laying in bed.
What do I have to do
to prove I love you?
Who do I have to be
to make you happy?
I wish I knew...
