I Wish I Had

there are scars from stitches- ice cold ruby blood runs through your veins... as you smile anguish and grimace joy free will was becoming, and you were liberated; drowning in aspirations with gifts God gave in hope that you would embrace them, nourish them with care- but the sky turned grey and life blew away- as the trees, in the breeze, sway in disarray i was going to tell you i needed you- but it rained that day, thunder roared and i was too scared i planned on giving you my compass- but it must have cracked when i got lost, for at one time i too walked rough trails so I leave town wearing a brown burlap gown- maybe tomorrow will soften my frown ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 12.13.19 -luloo
