I Wish I Could Pray

I Wish I Could Pray


I Haven't Prayed in a Long Time
I Guess I Don't Know How
But If I Knew I Think I Would
Cause I Am in Need of Help Right Now

I've Never Claimed to Be Perfect
But I've Really Tried My Best
To Be Kind and Even Helpful
But I've Been Put to the Test

I've Loved and Lost Many Times
But it Seems I Always Fail
Each Time I Think I've Learned a Lot
But I Learned to No Avail

What Is it about Me
That Makes Me Feel this Way
Do I Ask So  Much
Oh, How I Wish I Could Pray

The Help I Need Right Now
Is Hovering up above
If I Could Reach That High
Maybe I'd Find Love
