I wish I could dance

I wish I could dance
Oh how I would love to dance
To step in time with one who’s mine
To twirl and swirl this perfect girl
laughing all night until morning light

Oh how I would love to dance
And skip and leap and bounce and prance
Freely lost in rhythmical trance
Perhaps one day il get the chance

Oh how I would love to dance
And wrap my arms around your waist
And stare into your perfect face
Slowly stepping matching pace
once more lost in all your grace

Oh how I would love to dance
And move and sway the night away
And thus begin a bright new day
Two gleeful lovers lost in play

Oh how I would love to dance
I’d dance away my life with you
Lovers stuck together like glue
I hope one day it will come true
