I Wish

I wish I was a superhero
To come and save the day
I wish I was a latern lit
Just to help you on your way

I wish I knew the answers
To the questions that you ask
Be able to change your darkness
To a light in which you bask

I wish I could take the pain
And keep it shut up in a box
And throw away every single key
And completely seal the locks

But I can only wish for this
Just hope that you will see
That what you feel right here and now
Isnt all there will ever be
