I Wish

Dear man I call
I wish I understood it all
I wish you never did the crime
I wish you believed in that time
I wish the flesh was ever dead
I wish that you never said
I wish I was that room
I wish I saw you in that loom
I wish you never had the fame
I wish I never bear your name
I wish we never spoke
I wish my soul awoke
I wish you died so old
I wish you grew so cold
I wish you knew the Lord
I wish you saw the Lord
I wish you well in Hell
I wish you spend it well
