I Wish

I wish you didn't go away,
I wish you were here with me.

I wish I could see your smile again,
I wish I could be with you.

I wish you knew, what you mean to me,
I wish you knew, my thoughts of you.

I wish you knew, the tears I shed,
I wish you knew my pain.

I wish you understood, my reason for goodbye,
I wish you knew my love for you.

I wish you would remember the good times and tears,
I wish I could lock them all away.

I wish I could destroy these wishes,
I wish I could let you go and not remember you.

I wish you were known of GOD,
I wish you knew His love.

I wish you knew the difference between light and dark,
I wish you understood the reason were apart.

I wish to always hope and pray,
I wish that today, Jesus, your saviour will be!
