I Will Try

I think I've stopped caring, and Oh what a shame.
                                      I have myself to blame.
I keep trying to push myself off but something always makes me stop.
I start to consider, how the one I love would fare if I was no longer there.
Then I feel a stab of guilt, knowing what that would have meant.
I'll stay a little while, even if it's for your smile.
I guess I have to try, so you don't have to cry.

                                     This is not goodbye.

I like this line, "Then I feel a stab of guilt". Awesome line, I know exactly how that feels. I try to change, but I can't... Love this, Trinity. Let's see what else you got on your poem list :) Linda

I think one of my favorite parts about feedback is the fact that there are people who can identify with my feelings and that it's as if a connection is made on an extremely deep level. <3 -TJ

An early warning alarm poem -- wake up little man and see the beautiful woman that await for you -- at least for a little while!!

Indeed Dave. I'm flattered and your comment made me smile. That's a good lesson to him though yes? Blessed be. -TJ
