I Will Sing Unto Yehovah
-From the Passover musical that I wrote, "On Eagles' Wings." Written with help from my sister, Amy-
I will sing unto Yehovah Who has beheld all our suffering
He gave ear to our cry
And sent help from on high
And in Him my weary soul shall sing!
Maker, who shall ever work like You? You are great in Your love and grace
You remembered Your vow
And have come to us now
You shall save us from this wretched place!
I will sing unto Yehovah Who now has won us the victory
For the furious foe
He cast down as a stone
Horse and rider thrown into the sea!
I will sing unto Yehovah Who has become my deliverance
Though the foe spoke in pride
You have cast him aside
In the power of Your excellence!
Who is like You, great in holiness, working wonders with Your right hand?
In Your strength, You shall lead
Those whom You have redeemed
You shall bring us to the promised land!
Yehovah reigns forever and ever!
