I Will Remember

I will remember
When our hearts forged together....
On that sweet sweet December.....
As the sun set dying...
As the moon rose crying...
The diamonds sparkled danger....
As the devil killed my guardian angel....

I will remember
On that cold cold November....
When our love still burned our souls....
And the roses still lived long and bold....
As nature celebrated our love.....
And cupid cared from above....
As with purity fly the doves....

I will remember
Every night as the stars shined bright...
I whispered in your ear....
You whispered in return....
"I love you my dear".....
and we hugged, made love, protected from the cold face of fear.....

I will remember
When I came home from work......
And death came hidden....
As you lay there, your life, forbidden.....
Never again to feel your soft lips on mine....
Lost in the abyss of time....

I will remember
When I couldn't last a second.....
with my love taken and deafened.....
Driving next to the river.....
Decided and delivered....
Dived in with the reaper...
Lost in the water, the cold streams my grave....

I will remember
How our love was like pure art
Not even

"Death do us part"

because now we lay forever
Under loves grave endeavor
So we may be together
Even as, death so clever
Failed to separate us
For
Love lasts forever
