I Will Not Fear the Darkness

Shall I pass the phantom's test?
Find solace and peace in the belly of my bed?

I will not fear the darkness
Black as ravens head
Nor the shadows that watch and wait
While I nestle in my bed

No longer fear the cold breath, winter chill
Or the whispers of death and ill will
My fears, blooming as beauty of youth
From where are their roots?
