I Will Be There

If tears must fall, as oft they do,
if fear arrives to torment you

If darkness falls and light does fail,
if you struggle as you walk your trail

If you should fall and fail to rise,
if uncertainty does cloud your eyes

If your body bends beneath the weight,
if pain for you each day awaits

If hope begins to seem so slim,
if your choices turn from bleak to grim

If life itself seems so unfair,
I promise this; I will be there
