I Wear All My Scars Except My Broken Heart

The flash of deception has left me blind Your words cut deep in my flesh and were unkind My bones are broken will they ever heal Your gone from my presence can this be real I lost my love and it ripped me apart I wear all my scars except my broken heart My ears are deaf from your broken word I was maimed for life and goodbye was all I heard From the last embrace my hands hurt so much You left me and now I cannot touch I lost my love and it ripped me apart I wear all my scars except my broken heart I opened my mouth but there is no sound Your lies ceased to make my heart pound My lungs are empty I have only one final breath When true love returns I can rise from death I lost my love and it ripped me apart I wear all my scars except my broken heart
