I watch as time moves on

i yearn to halt time
untill corruption decays-
yet it marches on.

still,by the roadside
watching the move,burdened down,
with rot and decay.

dirty stream flows on
pure water hugs the edges
as the proverb says.

Polluted streams are a condemnation of progress. You've written with great concern. I commend you.

Hello Akham, your poem is hauntingly beautiful! I love the contrast between decay and purity, especially with the dirty stream and pure water, is powerful. Your words capture the relentless march of time and nature's resilience. Excellent! Winter Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Dear Akham N S, you are right its so sad seeing the contrast of life and all that around and i wish also to halt time until the ignorance and corruption and all the dark fades and light takes over but somethings just continue. You have a deep and kind eye and heart for all and that is evident through this write itself! Pleasure reading you today! Sending you light always

- All over the world, rich and poor meet each other, and in some cases the encounter is so direct that only a fence or a street separates them - A powerful poem, Akham - hugs
