I Was Wrong

I was Wrong by Rick Rucker I used to think that Life's a race, Always tried to win First Place! Now, that I'm old, and gray, I've begun to feel a different way. I've adopted a much slower pace, No more tense muscles in my face. I've begun to contemplate a move, Thinking that it might behoove Me to stay Where the Hula is performed every day! Now that I know I won't be alone, I'll have no need for a phone! The only one I'd care to call, Is getting a massage, in the next stall. When we both are done, Back out for some oily fun! At least once every day, I will let her, on my organ, play. It is not a Spinnet, But a competition, she could win it! You might think me a fool, But wait 'til my age, then you'll Begin to think like me, The most blessed things in Life are free!
