I was the Light in your Dark
I was the Light in your Dark

I was the Kindness you took for granted
I was a blessed Angel enchanted
I was the Light in your Dark
I was the one who brought forth a Spark
You never believed you had a Soul
Now you realise I'm trying to show you Hope
You have lived a Life of illusions
Now you have to accept Fate and Truth
I was sent to help you Grow
I was sent to help you Know
I was the Faith in the Despair and Loss
I was the one who took the Cost
You never believed that I could exist
Now you realise the depth of my Gifts
And yet you still try to push me away
You still choose Fear instead of Favour
One day soon, I'll be gone
One day soon, Love will be lost
One day soon, you'll be all alone
One day soon, you'll have to atone
For each of us lives via our Choices
Each of us has Gifts and Voices
Each of us can choose Fear or Faith
Each of us can accept God's Mercy and Grace
