I Was Kissed By a Butterfly Today

I was. Kissed by a butterfly today, as he came and flew around my head. He tickled my skin when, he landed on my face. Yellow and black, he was exqusit. He portrayed his beauty, galantly, as he flew around me. I was kissed by a butterfly today.

He landed on me, gracefully, he stayed with me, while he rest comfortably. One of God's, creature's, blessed me. Flutter flutter, little butterfly, then he flew away. I was kissed by a butterfly, today. He flew around me once again. Saying good bye, to his new friend. But before he flew, away from me, one last kissed, he placed on my cheek. Tickling me, all over again. Farewell little butterfly, come see me again. I was kissed by a butterfly, today this I will never forget, for I am truly blessed.

Butterflies, the world's most beloved creatures. Excellent tribute, Maria.

I love butterflies like yourself. We don’t see so many of the beautifully coloured ones just the Cabbage whites. This was such a sweet gentle portrayal of one of nature’s loveliest insects,Thank you Maria.

A very sweet poem Maria. Let me know if you'd like me to suggest spelling corrections. I was always grateful to be corrected when learning German.
