I Was Born To Be Free

I WAS BORN TO BE FREE

I cannot be what you want me to be.
I can only be what I am.
Where I am you can never come to see,
but I must be where I am.
I was born like the wind to be ever free,
like the waves on the shore and the sound of the sea;
and nothing can come between it and me.
I was born to be free.
