I was as me

I was as me, I give, in this life I lived, After I’m gone, to none I can give. If your words don’t leave a mark in time, Who needs what you once claimed as your line? Though I may not be needed by today, My verses may matter to those far away. My poetry’s my thought, my soul's song, A legacy left, where I still belong. While strength remains, and my spirit’s alive, I’ll write my truths, in my verses they'll thrive. From joy to sorrow, you’ll hear the blend, The market of life, where my stories descend.
