I Was Ahead of Her Game

My teenage granddaughter tried to manipulate me
Wiley and cagey as I knew she could expertly be.
I was ahead of her little game by a country mile.
I raised her motther who has an identical smile.

Yup we know all their tricks, not that I have grand children but I knew when to catch my son out! He just couldn't fib, he still can't - love him for it! Lovely write Caren, Blessings, Jennifer.
