I Want To Visit the Stars
I will visit the stars
Float in blackest starlight
where wonderment never ends,
where there can be no
day nor doleful night
Feeling the greatest consolation
looking toward a silvered infinity,
look at its possibility
In a place where only I
can hear my heart beat,
warm, safe, inside my cocoon
Listening and feeling,
never to feel solitary
I will visit worlds where
sunrise begins again, then again
I will think back to my home
receding into a yellow sun
Have one last message to mankind
it's truly beautiful
