I Want To Go Back

I wish to go back to that day 
where everything turned the other way 

I would not change a thing 
I would watch and listen 
As my heart starts to sings 

I wish to go back 
To when I was a little girl 
And everything was right 
When I never had to fight 

And I'd whisper to her 
never cry yourself to sleep at night 

I wish to go back 
To when I met my best friend 
When are memories had no end

To remind myself 
No matter what heartache or strife 
Friends don't let you solve a problem with a knife 

I'd go back to the time I held her in my arms and cried 
Because it wasn't fair 
To watch her falling apart right there 

I wish to go back 
I want to go back 
Please take me back!

But let me stay 
Because i want to look back on me at fourteen 
With my heart on fire 
And my eyes with a gleam
