I Want To Forget You

You tormented me for fifteen years 
Every moment filled with fear and tears
Now you are finally gone from my life
Still thoughts torment, why this strife?

I desperately try to erase you from mind
But your thoughts in front of me I find
Why to negative people mind clings
When sadness only their thought brings?
