I Want To Do So Well In This World

I want to do so well in this world
That I can have a rich man’s tomb,
I want to do so well in this world
I can have a rich man’s tomb,
Upright tall overlooking the masses with all them other who is whoms.

I want to be so rich in this life
My mausoleum’s under a big old oak tree,
I want to be so rich in this life
My mausoleum’s under a big old oak tree,
Keep the sunshine life for the laborers and chickadees.

I want to have enough possessions
That when I’m gone you still can get the idea,
I want to have enough possessions
That when I’m gone you still can get the idea,
Carve my name in twelve-inch letters rubbed with wonder and perpetual care.
