I Want To Be That Someone

(His Version of I Want Someone)

I want to write you a love song one written from the depths of my heart, I want to sing these words to you as I hold you in my arms
I want you to feel the emotions that resonate from within me, oh looking back I see now how I should have done things differently
I should have taken you by the hand as I gazed into your eyes, and somehow made you believe that all that I was conveying to you wasn’t lies
I meant it that I loved you, I meant that I wanted you near, I promise you my love you had nothing at all to fear

I did want nothing more than to hold you inside of my arms, and I meant every word that I once spoke to you they still echo from my heart
I never meant to make you question if my words were true, my love I meant every single syllable that I spoke only ever to you
Just know even though I left those words they remained, and just like them my love I wish that I could have stayed
I want more than anything to play a romantic motif just for you, I want to lay pink rose petals at your feet as the path leads to your dream coming true

The fairytale that I promised you in long ago days, I know that you want with all your heart, just know that I feel the same
I know that you believed I was your Prince Charming and there is nothing more that I want to be, I want to enrapture you in my arms and show you that you can have this with me
I don’t ever want you to look back and wonder how things could have been, I want to share with you a future that has no end
I want you back in these arms, I want to romanticize you the way that I did back then, I want to whisper into your ear that I love you forever without an end

My love I know that you want this more than anything, and just know that slow dancing with you fulfilled my every dream
My heart sang to you, it cried out to you in that moment from the depths of my tortured soul, making you a solemn promise that I would never truly let you go
I know you want my words back and I want to give them all to you, I want you in my arms just as much as you want them wrapped around you
I want to shelter you, I want to give you my warm embrace, I want to swim in those beautiful gray eyes of yours and never again look away from that pretty face

I want to lift you up in my arms, I want to touch you so softly, I want to seduce your heart and your mind with my touch and love, not just your body
I want to give you all of me, the gentle side that you crave, I want to show the broken pieces so that you can wash them away
I want all of you my love and I want to give you all of me, I know that you want someone that you believe you’ll never again have, sadly I know that person is me
But I want you to know you don’t have to want because I am all yours, I live inside of you, and there in your heart you have me forever and always please know these words are true.
