I Want Him

I want him. I really do.
He’s a good looking dude.
He’s sweet to me
But I’m confused

It’s not him
It’s me
Am I ready for this
It’s him I already miss

Trying not to blow up his phone
When he gone
I accept him for who he is but I don’t want to spend
Time with him and his homeboys
It’s just him I want to spend time with and enjoy

That’s the one of few things I don’t like
He seem like he so close to his homeboys
To him, somebody can lie
And he’ll believe them over me
Now, I think we should wait
Maybe he can just be that friend
I want him to trust me
Like he trust them

Just maybe one day,
If we’ll keep working at it,
We’ll become one
We need to work on trust
That’s what’s keeping me from love
