I Want a Friend

I want a friend
Is that too much to ask for?
I want a friend
I'm alone from my core
I've searched high and I've searched low
I guess I should just stay with my woe

I drag my feet on the ground everyday
My heart has begun to decay
I'm broken pieces on the ground
I will never ever be found

I want a friend
Is that too much to ask for?
I want a friend
I'm alone from my core
Why do people always leave me
In the shadows is where I'll be
