I Wandered So Lonely

I wandered so lonely beneath the stars Lamenting my wayward pathways chosen Feeling abject sadness of unhealed scars Thus, fearing a dreaded self-implosion, With thoughts of emotional erosion, Knowing what is past cannot be undone I shall feel renewed with the rising sun Pinpoints of star light bathe my inner soul Such a stroll ensures a victory won When the morning returns, I shall be whole.

"I shall feel renewed with the rising sun" - I do too.

I think the dawn really does symbolize renewal, although I rarely experience it. I am a night person, so I sleep in until 9 or 10 every morning. I have been all my life, and I think it has something to do with body rhythms.

Lifes many challenges we deal with but we pick ourselves up, hopefully learn from the experience whether good or bad and bring in hope and God to get us through the next one. Like this piece Milton, been there done that. Nicely written...

Hello Milton, I hope your surgery went well. Good to see you back. I hope your depressed mood does not last too long. Enjoy your day my friend.

Not really depressed, Darlene, but I thank you for thinking of me. I just wrote this poem while practicing the dizain.
