I Wander About

I wander about
like a fish out of water
in the surf blue sea

Me a traveler
in the congress of gray rocks
where carcajous howl

A vacant lot mind
wavered in the breeze empty
land soul never rests

Heart sighs seeks haven
warm breasts of the beloved
in my country home

I see the river
boatmen singing love ballad
flows out of water

As J.R.R. Tolkien said, "Not all who wander are lost"... Sometimes we need a little freedom to clear the mind and rejuvenate the soul... A great set of haiku, Rajat. Well done! Good luck in Sheri's contest!

Lovely and creative string of haiku, Rajat! Loved them all; the first one has a touch of Grook. All the best my friend. // paul
