I Understand

The beginning has begun
Looking up at the sun
Rejection...
Doesn't it feel good sometimes?
Affliction...
Doesn't it make you feel sick at times?
I've been there, done that
I think of myself rather fat

I understand...
Head down...
I'll make a stand
With an upside down frown

Infection...
Wouldn't heal...wouldn't heal...
Tired, and yet filled with affection

I understand...
Head down...
I'll make a stand
With an upside down frown

Rejection is okay to have
Judgement Day is almost here,
So I must behave without the slightest fear
My love for you is as numerous as the sand of the beach...
But, now...
I don't-don't know what to say or feel
Maybe later we'll be with each other
Like no big deal
Like no big deal

I understand...
Head down...
I'll make a stand
With an upside down frown
I understand...
Head down...
I'll make a stand
With an upside down frown

I'll be happy, not sad
Nor mad
But, I'll be glad
No matter what, friend
I'll love you, even if it's the end
The end.
