I Try

I try to make you happy,
yet you say you don't want me here,
and by now you should have
made yourself, more than perfectly clear.

I try to get close to you,
yet you constantly push me away,
I need you with me forever,
I can't live without you for one day.

I don't know what else I can say,
that I haven't already said before,
maybe if I had your strength,
then I could walk out the door.

I do everything I can for you,
yet you want nothing to do with me,
but I'll continue giving you my heart,
because I couldn't bare to set you free.
