I Tried
I wanted to make you happy,
I truly did, I tried!
But my love you through away,
and a river of tears I cried.
You promised me forever,
but broke my heart instead.
I thought you wanted marriage,
but I was sadly mislead.
You would never hurt me,
blindly i believed this true.
But I should have known better,
then to ever trust you!
