I Took a Trip With You Down Memory Lane
I look upon the distant past
To remember a smile and how it all went so fast
I see the pictures on the wall that we did amass
I search for your heart through the looking glass
I wanted to return to a time when things were safe and sane
So I took a trip with you down memory lane
With every thought of you I feel brand new
I shall think if the time we spent together my whole life through
The words we spoke meant a lot to me
They have made a difference and I’m very happy
