I Took a Life

We were in between an argument Blaming one another Telling how we have been hurt From the actions From the words uttered We have been yelling and shouting All this while Where the allegations made us smile We were in deep love When we first met We went to a lot of dates And time passed alike There was a time When we used to count on each other And then we were counting days since we were together We both became intolerable Situations were not worth dealing One day we were into a fight He raised his voice And I felt like Breaking off his throat I was welling up so hard He came near me to console But this time was not the first time He got along such thing The very next moment There was his body Lying on the floor All wet in blood It all happened in a sentimental flood It took me moments to realise That I'm holding a knife And I took somebody's life!!!
