I Too Had a Valentine

I too had a Valentine..
& thought with pride that the
stars were mine;
The moon seemed a
belonging
I felt like the owner of
everything!
I was a poet of beauty,those
days..
Who felt the fragnance of
love always;
Every worry was my slave,I
guess,
I was on the top of all
happiness.
Although today I am all alone
Lying here like a discarded
stone
Passing my time with woe &
wine...
I still remember-that I too had
a Valentine..
