I Told You

My fingers flinch, cold and pale
My toes they twitch and tickle
My chest heaves and burns deeply
The blood runs downward, a trickle
My head spins and crashes
Pounding down on my brain
I scream with no sound, just tears
Caught up in the aching pain
I cannot move my limbs
My blood spilling on the floor
I see my shining razor blade
And it’s crying out for more
The world is fading in and out
The ringing is loud in my head
I shudder and curl up tightly
For soon I shall be dead
