I Thought You Were the One

I thought you were the one that was going to last forever, I thought that you and me would
always be together. You used to be sweet and have such a good sense of humor, so why did
we have to fight over such a stupid rumor? How come you didn’t see all the love that I had?
How come you felt the need to treat me so bad? For a moment in time, you were my reason
for waking up every day, I still don’t know why, why our love had to slowly fade away. I
thought that you were the one who would always be here for me, I guess with me is not
where you want to be. I guess I finally realized that our love will never be, maybe I should
just forget about you the way that you just forgot about me. I guess the day that you want
me in your life will never come, I can’t believe that I ever thought that you were the one.*
